The Founding Generation Began Learning About Teak Wood

It all started with a simple buy-and-sell business, operated by a husband and wife working side by side.

1997

Steady Growth in Sales

The products quickly gained popularity and began selling consistently well. As demand increased, they hired 2–3 employees to help with packaging and fulfillment.

1999

Recognizing an Opportunity

To improve profitability, they began ordering raw, unpainted furniture and handled the finishing process in-house, behind the shop.

2005

Starting a Small Workshop

They built a small workshop behind the shop to create a dedicated space for sanding and finishing work, allowing craftsmen to work more efficiently and in a structured way.

2007

Registered as a Legal Entity

As revenue grew, the business was officially registered as a legal entity under the name Phrae Mai Thai Co., Ltd.

2008

Factory Expansion

The factory was expanded to handle both production and in-house finishing.

2012

Registered as a Limited Partnership

An additional legal entity was registered under the name Phrae Saktong Furniture (Thailand) LP.

2013

Expanding into Modern Trade

To reach a wider market, the company introduced products into modern trade channels with competitive wholesale pricing for major retailers.

2015

Launched First Website

The first official website, www.furteak-th.com, was launched to support the growing online market.

2017

Expanded with 100% Electric Kiln Facility

Due to positive online market response, the factory was expanded to include a 100% electric wood-drying kiln for more efficient and eco-friendly production.

Launched a Subsidiary

A new affiliate company, Ideateak, was established to focus on modern and minimal-style teak furniture.

The factory was expanded and equipped with larger, higher-standard machinery to improve efficiency and reduce reliance on manual labor.
